I can't believe I leave for Challenge tomorrow. I am so excited! I've wanted to go for years but this is the first time I've made it. I'm really looking forward to meeting all the fabulous people on LJ that are going. I wish everyone was. Of course, I also can't wait to see the guys.

I've gotten myself worked into a complete state over my wardrobe though. I had such great plans - get a new haircut and highlights, get my make-up done, lose 5 pounds, and buy many fabulous and funky new outfits. Alas, this didn't happen and I'm worried that I'm going to look like a soccer mom all weekend. I did manage to by a new top to wear to the party Saturday that shows lots of cleavage -- as one of you suggested! :) But what about shoes, pants, hair and jewelery?!?! I'm not the type that goes to night clubs - I may need someone to hold my hand.

I am so grateful for the wonderful people that have arranged events for tomorrow and Friday nights. I booked my flights early when they first announced the venue and was surprised by the lack of "organized" events. I guess they have really cut back this year, huh? Without you guys there would be three days of shopping in my future. I've lived in Chicago a couple of different times, so sightseeing alone doesn't have much appeal. On the topic of organized events...does anyone know if the general public can get in to watch the bowling Friday night? JC mentioned it on AH tonight, but I thought that was invitees only?

Last, but not least, if anyone wants to track me down, I am staying at Hotel 71. My flight gets into Midway at 12:35 so I'll probably be hanging out in the lobby/bar for a while before check-in.
